Plundering Empty Plundering

Players can plunder other cities for resources, which will be more and more usefull as you advance in the game and upgrades and units become more and more expensive. First era ("Primitive Era") cities can't be plundered, as they enjoy novice protection. When plundering cities from your own nation, note that second era ("Expansion Era") players can plunder only second era players from own nation, third era ("Trade Era") players only other third era players and fourth era ("Domination Era") and fifth era ("Imperial Era") players can plunder both fourth and fifth era players. These restrictions are only for cities from your own nation. You can freely plunder any city from another nation, as long as it is not still in first era.

It is advisable to not plunder active players from own nation, only inactives ones (red symbol above city). Even when plundering cities in other nations, it's usually better to plunder inactive players. It is both safer (no defence or auto defence and no revenge attacks) and usually more profitable (as active players tend to spend their resources).

Before you plunder a city, investigate it first to see if he has garnissoned any heroes / troops and what kind. If a heroe / some heroes (use drop down menu to see all heroes) apear on the window of the message you get after you investigate it, it means these heroes are garnissoned inside. Only troops that apear in the squares on the right side of garnissoned heroes will defend the city, as only these troops are on the garnissoned heroes. The troops that apear on the row down below are only iddle in the city and will not deffend the city.

Tips:
* plunder inactive players / cities (red symbol above city)
* first investigate the city you want to plunder, to see if there are garnissoned heroes / troops
* if he has garnissoned heroes / troops, you can first use a stronger hero, maybe even with troops (if he is inactive and his units will fight on auto) to kill his garnisson and then you can plunder him with weaker heroes too
* you should use cheep troops (as plundering troops get killed pretty often), that can carry a lot (many players like to use a couple of hundred lv. 1 cav. or lv. 1 siege weapons)
* you can even use empty heroes to plunder (they will get only gold and no other resources), but this way you sure won't loose any troops and you can do it even when you have no troops for plunder
* the plundered resources will go to the city or camp from which the plundering hero was send: so if you want to plunder resources for your city, send heroes from the city, not from camps
