Lair Battle

Lair battles are pve (player versus environment) type fights, where you fight 1 type of mobs / NPC (non-player character) with a mob boss. They can drop different types of equipment, potions and skills. Equipment drops are usually 10 levels bellow lair level for common and 10 - 20 levels bellow lair level for purple set items. Skill drops are: lv. 1 skills in lairs lv. 10 - 30, lv. 2 skills in lairs lv. 40 - 70 and lv. 3 skills in lairs lv. 80 - 100.

Lairs give experience points too (even if due their difficulty and 15 min. cooldown period, that is bound to the hero, not the lair), they are less effective for fast experience gains, compared to horse thieves or Trials of Champions. Lairs also give fame: lv. 10 lairs give 1 fame, lv. 20 lairs give 2 fame and so on. The amount of fame you gain from lairs, gets multiplied by the number of heroes you use (if you use 1 hero, you get 1 fame from a lv. 10 lair, if you use a legion of 3 heroes, you get 3 x 1 = 3 fame from the same lair).

Level 10 - 50 lairs can be found near cities, inside nation, while level 60 - 100 lairs can be found in neutral teritories.

Tips:
* you can create legions of 1, 2 or 3 heroes to attack a lair; these heroes can belong to the same player or different players
* use ranged units (archers and scorpions are best), T5 / lv 5 units are not safe when doing lairs on auto
* put units on the second row, when assigning them to the hero, so that you decrease the chance of them getting attacked by the mobs
* when creating legions, inside a stronger lair, the first hero should be the weakest and the second hero should be the strongest one
* after the battle starts, click "Auto" before the countdown ("3, 2, 1,...") ends; this way you decrease the chances of your troops being targetet by the mobs
* whenever you have some free / iddle heroes, send them to a nearby level 10 lair to farm for skills
